HOW MUCH DO VAN SIGN KITS COST?
the honest ladder.
Real prices, not "from £1": lettering kits from £99, standard kits £99–£149, full panel kits from £199 — and exactly what moves the number.
The ladder, plainly
Lettering kits — name, trade, number, pre-spaced — start at £99. Add a printed logo and more coverage and you are in standard kit territory at £99–£149 depending on van size. Full panel kits with heavy graphics start from £199. Design and the fitting guide are included at every rung.
What moves the price
- Van size — Caddy vs Sprinter
- Amount of lettering
- Printed logo vs cut vinyl
- Coverage — doors vs full sides
- Colour count
- Fleet quantity
Kit vs fitted: the maths
A fitted signwriting job pays for a professional’s hours on your van. The kit moves those hours to you — that is the saving, and it is why a £99–£149 kit competes with much bigger fitted invoices. If your time is worth more on the tools, our Manchester workshop fits too.
Watch for the hidden extras elsewhere
Design fees, artwork fees, "setup" charges — the classic ways a cheap headline price grows. Ours do not: design, proof, tools and guide are in the kit price, and the quote is fixed before we cut.
Questions
Straight answers
Is £99 really the full price for a lettering kit?
Yes — design, proof, pre-cut pre-spaced vinyl, tools and guide included. Bigger vans and more content cost more, and we tell you before cutting.
Why are some kits online cheaper?
Usually no design service, no proof, un-spaced letters you lay out yourself, thin vinyl. The saving evaporates on the driveway.
Do fleet kits get cheaper per van?
Yes — one design templated across the fleet drops the per-van price. Ask for the fleet quote.
