CAN YOU FIT VAN SIGNS YOURSELF?

The honest answer: if you can apply a screen protector, you can letter a van. The method, the mistakes, and when to let us do it.
The method in five moves
Clean the panel properly (panel wipe, not washing-up liquid). Position the piece with masking tape and the guide marks. Hinge it, peel the backing, squeegee from the centre out. Peel the application tape low and slow. Step back and admire. Most vans: 2–3 hours.
The mistakes that actually happen
Fitting in the cold (vinyl hates below ~10°C), dirty panels, rushing the tape peel, and stretching the vinyl around curves. Every one is avoidable and the guide covers each — plus bubble rescue, which is easier than you fear.
What is in the kit that makes it easy
Pre-spaced lettering on application tape means the hard part — layout — is already done. You are applying one piece, not thirty letters. Squeegee and instructions in the box.
When to let us fit it
Heavy part-graphics over body lines, very large printed panels, or simply no time — the Manchester workshop exists for exactly that. No judgement; the kit is a choice, not a test.
Straight answers
What temperature do I need?
Roughly 10–25°C and a dry panel. A garage or a mild day both work.
What if I get a bubble?
Small ones disappear with a pin prick and thumb press. The guide shows it — genuinely a non-event.
Can I re-position a piece?
In the first moments, carefully, yes. The hinge method in the guide means you rarely need to.
